So I got a 3g modem yesterday from the centurion store a D link DWM156 to use with my router, this is a supported device according to my manufacturers website, however this is not a DWM 156, it picks up as something else, after hours of frustration trying to set this up, i finally gave up and decided to return it to the store, the manager on duty subsequently told me i cannot return it and he refused to give my money back, even went so far as to tell my wife that he flat out refuses as the problem with me not his goods. this is in direct violation of the consumer protection act specifically section 20 (consumers rights to return goods) under subsection 20 section 2 d, provided this is done in 10 days, i returned t in 1 day with my proof of purchase. even when i brought this to his attention he said I AM NOT WILLING TO ASSIST YOU! so therefore all i request is to return this item and get my money back or i will take further legal action which will cost telkom mobile up to R1 million rand for being in violation of the consumer protection act. i await your response as tomorrow 19 august 2013 at 11:00 i will be meeting with my lawyer to sort this out... your move Telkom.
