With a request to move my telephone line to another residence, in the same area, no one was capable of telling me that they can't give me the same telephone number. I requested that the line be moved on the last working day of July (I made the request on the 24th of July) they cut off my service on the 26th, FOUR DAYS BEFORE I had asked for it to be changed. I then requested that since I run my business off this line that I keep the original number so I don't look like a unprofessional dweep to my clients but by the 5th of August Telkom had re-allocated my number to someone else. I now sit without a service at both premises, and no one is able to help me re-establish the original line. I am tired that I not only pay for this service/non-service but also facilitate the salaries of incompetent people and systems with my hard earned income and pay taxes for this state-owned enterprise. Why am I paying for service that I don't get? Why can't Telkom deliver a service?
