I have applied for a Telkom landline with ADSL at the beginning of June 2013. Ref CM993916. It is now the middle of August and I have yet to receive the service I requested. I live in a complex that is just over 5 years old, and there is a telkom distribution box in the complex. Many of the other tenants have active telkom lines, however I have been waiting for over 2 months for feedback.
I have spent alot of time and energy telephoning Telkom's call centre and technical department to enquire about the progress of my order. I require ADSL urgently and am willing to pay for the service immediately, but Telkom have given me the following reasons as to why I have to wait.
1. There is no services in my area (eventhough there is a distribution box in the complex)
2. The ADSL line will be installed by August 2013.
3. As off the call on 13/8/2013, they indicated the ADSL services will now be installed in December 2013.
When ever i contact the call centre, they always say they are sending a message to the technical department. But i have yet to receive feedback.
