I opted for a deal online (as I had received poor service in the shop), the deal did not go through as an upgrade, after a week of calling between three of their departments, I was assisted as I emailed customercare with a complaint. Customercare indicated that they would change the phone to an upgrade and I received the necessary paperwork. Yesterday I got my phone, firstly, the SIM does not fit in the phone I got; and they have given me a new number, not upgraded my phone; furthermore a second phone is on route for delivery to me. I tried to contact customer service and they referred me on to upgrades and now I have to return a phone (but they are unsure of the phone they have sent me - whether its an upgrade or the new contract I didn't want) and cancel a contract that I explicitly indicated I was concerned that this would happen. I am constantly having to follow up with the departments and I am frustrated and not interested in staying with Vodacom if this is constantly the process I have to go through each time I upgrade.
