I recently had to black list 2 phones and a tablet. Only the 1 phone had a sim card in. It was my son's (7 years old) phone. He is the only one in the household with a 8ta nr (Rica'ed under my name). I phoned Vodacom first as that is the number I know. They couldn't help me as I failed the security questions. They were going to e-mail forms that I had to complete (promised 3 times, still waiting for them 2 weeks later). I then tried MTN. They refused to help me from scratch.
I then phoned 8ta and explained my situation. My were able to assist me straight away. Sms'ed the ITC nr and was able to give it to my insurance.
Thanks 8ta for the great service and sympathy during the process. I am defnitly going to go migrate over to you when my contract expires.
