Stop order payment date

I have a contract with Voda. On my contract I asked that they take money on my account on the last day of the month. On 29 June they went and try taking their instalment and there insufficient funds; and now charging me a penalty of r100.00. I don't know why they were deducting before the agreed date and they have taken this penalty on july.

I don't know why they charging me this amount really and 100.00 is too much for insufficient funds. They also go there before salary is deposited at midnight and they do not try during the day to deduct and automatically charge this penalty this is a day lite.
