I am on top-up package which cost about R 118 per month & then received a R600 bill for the previous month and R400 bill for last month which no-one at MTN could yet explain to me. I received an email were I was threatened with legal action and that my contract will be terminated and that I will be liable for early termination fees etc. In order to have my phone re-connected, I had to pay this incorrectly billed amount. Every time I speak to an MTN call centre agent they agree that I have been incorrectly billed, give me a reference number and that is it. At one stage I received a refund of? R100, but again no one can explain why only this amount was refunded. I have now made over 10 calls to the MTN help desk, received various promises of call backs and e-mails to inform me about the progress of my query, but nothing ever happens.
Please let me know if MTN intends to resolve this issue.
