I have been an MTN customer for a while now but today I had to cancel my number with them. To begin with they have the worst people working on their call centre which is great for me since their staff attitudes will drive more customers away. My number with them used to be 083 285 6183 but had to cancel it this morning. They are overcharging me and their uneducated staff can't even tell me how they got to my balance, please check my statement and give me an accurate balance. R 279 pm for two months outstanding how did it get to R 1, 500. Your accountants are smoking TIK that's the only way I would understand this bogus amount. I wish 8ita can up their visibility so that they can takeover because MTN is straight . with untrained staff. I am on my way to 8ita for a new number. The OMBUDSMAN people say I must try solve the problem with MTN before they can assist me, but if it fails they will take it further. Vodacom tried this with me before but they failed and lost two phones to me.
