I upgraded my cell phone contract over 2 weeks ago and have yet to receive my new phone. I was not told I would have to wait this long. I have phoned the branch numerous times to find out when I can expect to receive the phone, but unfortunately no one is able to shed any light on the matter.
I have been given many reasons, mostly blaming MTN for lack of delivery. While I'm sure there are complications, I do not believe these should be my concern as the customer. I would think you would arrange your own business processes in such a way to keep your clients happy.
In the meantime, I am still receiving sms reminders that my contract is due for upgrade. Thanks for the heads up, I would love to upgrade but unfortunately I am waiting on yourselves to provide me with the new cell phone.
I sincerely hope this will be sorted out with haste. I can't help but wonder if it would be quicker for me to simply cancel my contract with autopage and rather go direct to MTN.
