I acquired contract with 8ta for the Galaxy S4 and placed it under warranty immediately. On the 6th July I took the cell in for repairs. I received a sms on the Monday stating it had been booked in. Now 3 weeks in after I had to chase down answers I am told that they are awaiting spares and nobody will give me a date that I will actually have my cell. So I pay a contract and am unable to use it and the complaints department send wording to you if you query things rather than actually assisting you. the wording as I understand says they will take UP TO 3 WEEKS to repair phones OR such longer period as notified by Telkom Mobile.. I feekl they have breached contract as I have not been notified of the extended period! I wish to get out of this contract and will NEVER sign up with telkom or 8ta again as I feel consumers are tied in to contracts regardless of whether the service we pay for is provided or not!!
