I was using a work cellphone until when i resigned in 2010. I was not aware that I'm liable for paying the bill after i had left the company. In February 2010 my account was R2000 and later accumulated to R7000. when i called MTN trying to resolve the issue and make arrangement i was told that i need to settle the amount in full. I did not have that kind of money and for the fact that the phone was not in use and did not get the airtime as per agreement i do not know how my account accumulated monthly. Currently my account is standing at R37000 which does not make sense as the account has been closed for more than 3yrs now however the lawyers that Mtn handed me over to bill me R1000 plus monthly. The way this is going on and on I do not see myself resolving this issue.
