Shocking service and service delivery

This has been going on for about 4 months now. I have a Cell C 3G card that has all but stopped working. When I got it initially, everything was fine. However, at some point, the service pretty much stopped working. I can connect, but during the day, when I need it, it simply won't load anything at all. I unplug and restart and occasionally I will get service for 10 minutes, and then it drops again and won't work. It seems I spend all day unplugging and reconnecting my 3G modem trying to get it to work.

This is not just my service either - I have used someone else's Cell C 3G card in my location and it doesn't work either.

I've spoken to the call centre. Once, the person on the other end told me techs were aware of the problem and were working on it. I asked what I could do in the meantime, and they said, and I quote - "Don't use the device."

Since then, the problem has simply gotten worse. I am at the point of turfing the whole thing and going with MTN. But 24 months have been paid upfront. I could understand if I was out in the middle of nowhere, but I am right in the centre of Joburg. Is it too much to expect service that actually works?
