I'm having a problem with my platinum check card. The chip dos not want to work in stores or at service stations. Only work at some ATM's. I did report to FNB call Centre and they took my details (03 Nov. 2013) Never heard anything. I phoned again and this time I was told to go to a branch where they can test my card. I went to Key West FNB where Elsabe helped me and said it may be dust on the card I should try the ATM at Key West and my card did work. I told her this is exactly my problem... Sometimes it work and other times it doesn't. I don't want to be stuck somewhere where I have to use it at a service station and then the card is not working. So I got a bit of an attitude and was told then I have to get a new card and pay R250.00 for it.
I got this card this year and already it's not working. Elsabe did have a look at my card and it's not damaged from the outside so please don't tell me that I damaged it!!
You upgrade me to a platinum card so I expect it to work for more than a few months before I have to replace it and pay for the replacement.
