After upgrading to a BB 9900 in Oct 2011, I have booked in my phone for the 3rd time within a span of 6 months. The first time in Sep 2011 for a short battery lifespan and it was replaced with a "new" battery. On 7 Jan 2012 I booked my phone in with the exact same battery problem, job number 8475510. 2 weeks later, 16 Jan 2012, I uplifted the phone after being informed that my phone is "ready for collection". Only to find that the refurbished unit switches of repeatedly even with a fully charged battery. Does the phone not get checked before it is issued to the customer? Because 2 days later I had to once again make my way back to Century City for the 3rd time in 2 weeks to book my phone in AGAIN job number 8518034. Aneeqa was very helpful unlike her supervisor who was too busy to assist me.
I am paying a substantial amount monthly for a phone I haven't had the pleasure of using for more than half of this month which is completely ridiculous and extremely bad service from Blackberry's side. I have been informed that my case has been escalated so I am waiting patiently to receive a new phone instead of a useless second-hand unit which would (not) surprise me with yet another fault.
