I furnished the required 1 month's notice to cancel my Cell C Get It contract on 26 February, 2013 (ref 6055096) however was billed R89 for the month of April 2013 due to the contract only having been cancelled on their system at the end of April 2013. Despite being adivised that the amount would be refunded on 27 June 2013 this has apparently not transpired and my phone has again been barred. I have made all the monthly payments up to and including March 2013 and furnished Nelli Mamotheti with the relevant info as well as copies of my bank statements evidencing this. I understand that my account has now also been handed over to their intermediate recoveries department. Incidently Nelli has been extremely helpful in trying to resolve this matter notwithstanding which I continue to be inconvenienced.
