I phoned and cancelled the one number ending in 9316 on 6 May 2013 and the other ending in 0313 on about 25 May 2013. I requested that both be converted to a pay-as-you-go so that it can be either ported or otherwise used as my daughters will be taking out their own contracts. I understand that there is a 30 day cancellation period.

When I cancelled the 9316 number, I was told that I will only be liable for 6 days (1 to 6 June) and this would be reflected on my end of June account. The same should have happened to the 0313 number.

I have now received an account which indicates that neither has been cancelled. When I contacted Virgin mobile this morning I was informed that the one was converted to a R99.00 contract. Why this was, I cannot say, as I never requested it.
