On 2/7/2013 I send in my blackberry 9300 in for repairs at Vodacom repairs in Menlyn via Ackermans where the phoned was purchased in cash Aug 2012. The charger inlet had broken into the phone. On 13/7/2013 I was informed that the phone had liquid damage and a fee of R1400 had to be paid. I contacted "Maputi" at Vodacom and he informed me that it was negligence on my part no liquid damage but that I had to pay for them to repair the phone. I stated that the phone was 10 months old and still under guarantee and that I did not break the inlet charger but that when I inserted the charger the part broke into the phone. She put the phone down 3 times while I was trying to explain that it was not negligence and that how could she prove it. The phone was 2 months old when I also returned it because the scroller was'nt working. They also changed the IMEI on the phone and had trouble getting the correct IMEI. I said she should return the phone and that I was going to tke this further. It is 22/7/2013 and I still have not received the phone from them after several request. I expected more from Vodacom and their personnnel. She was rude and accusing. I am disgusted.
