I went to Vodacom to upgrade my contract. Mariann asked my daughter if "Grandmother"was going to give her the phone! My daughter answered that the phone was for her Mother. She then asked my daughter instead of speaking to me directly, if I could use I was able to use a touch screen. I answered her myself that I could. During the morning she also spoke to her colleagues in between our conversations. She showed me the available phones on a tiny screen on her computer. I had to pay in too much on the Samsung Galaxy 4. The spreadsheet was very small, and it was difficult for me to see. I choose Smart S option, and Nokia Lumia 720 as my second option. I feel cheated out of a Samsung Galaxy 3 as I feel could get it if I could view the spreadsheet better, or if she gave me a printed version which I requested and she did not want to print. I had taken my time to choose, and the store went off line. She also told me that it was my fault that she went off line because I took too long to decide. (I unfortunately had a call from my Mother with bad news as well in between). Although the deal was struck in a friendly matter, I still feel cheated out of the phone I really wanted!
