Renewed my contract at Autopage on 3 July 2013. Took a Blackberry 9790. After 6 days, the scroll button stopped working. I phoned the Call Centre on 9/7 and spoke to Dineo. Her first question to me was: "What did you do? Did you drop the phone? " I replied that NO, it just stopped working. After a lengthy discussion about what the company / return policy was. (Dineo had no clue what the company policy was) she spoke to her supervisor, Aldrin, who confirmed that I could return the phone to Clearwater Branch and get an immediate replacement according to the CPA, because it was within a 5 working day period.
I went to Clearwater branch on 10/7 where I was told by the store manager, Bernadette, that NO, In fact I cannot get a replacement phone, a technician from head office has to access the phone first. I was quite annoyed that I now had to wait for a replacement phone. I get an sms from on 10/7 to say someone will call me within 24 working hours. I hear NOTHING. I call Bernadette on 17/7 and she assures me that Aldrin will call me that day. Still NOTHING. I am paying for a phone that I don't have. YOU SOLD ME A BROKEN PHONE AND I WANT A NEW ONE. CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME
