After a lot of emails, calls & no joy, I am at my wits end!
After upgrading to a Sony Xperia Go on the 4/7/2013 at the Bayside branch & being told it should take a week to arrive, I am still waiting!
This phone was advertised loudly & proudly in their brochure & if not having one in store that I can actually leave with THAT DAY was not bad enough, I was told that there is NOT ONE Xperia Go in ANY branch in Cape Town! I made it clear that this is unacceptable & any phone advertised, especially when on special, should be available at ALL stores. If that is not the case, it is misleading & FALSE ADVERTISING, something the ASA should hear about it.
And when their service consultant phones me with a reference number & all correspondence thus far available to him, I get asked what phone I would like to upgrade to?! I have upgraded, read the emails & you will know this, don't call me unprepared with stupid questions!!
I have had 3 good years with Cell C with no problems but if this is an indication of the status quo, then help you, the 3rd network you will stay!!
By the time I get the phone, the new model will be "available", well sort of, if you get my drift!
