Hi, I have just been away for 2months and spent maximum 6 days in Lesotho for which I activated roaming since I am a medic the company I worked for activated roaming on my company cell phone.
Problem is I got charged R5 193.70 for roaming charges which I think is unacceptable we have been into a few stores and was told to request itemised billing. What is so sad is that I could swear I could have made 5 call and as per the rest a what's app and work emails that I received. The rest of the guys who were on Vodacom and literally hogged there phone lines didn't even spend 10 percent of what I have been charged.
If MTN had informed us that 6 days of roaming would cost us almost R1000 per day we would have rather bought a new sim card in Lesotho and used that in case of an emergency.
I am seriously dissatisfied because I will be held responsible for this and cant see how this would ever be possible.
