I'm horrified at the service I received at Cell C. I had an account with them which was paid off and closed in the year of 2010. I was advised to pay an amount of R3011.67, in the month of Nov 2010. This amount was paid and the contract was ended with them. To my surprise I received a call from Pholosa Debt Collectors sometime last week. I was horrified to learn that CELL C has handed over my name to them for the amount which was paid off in the year of 2010. This was unbelievable!!! In the first place I was NEVER sent a letter, nor contacted by them to advise me of this "amount" that I owe before they ruined my CREDIT RECORD by handing over my name. My nightmare was again re-ignited upon calling them to clarify this matter. The service I received from a consultant who took my call was APPALLING to say the least. After a run around, she eventually came back to me 15 minutes later to tell me that my then account was handed over to Debt Collectors in "ERROR". When I asked her to transfer my call to a senior manager she told me "they don't take calls" - shocking that senior managers do not take calls at a company like CELL C.She said they'd call me b4 end of business (15.06.13). No call
