After I had to deal with a shaky start regarding the service, I eventually got my iphone5. I had trouble from the word go, the phone was extremely slow and as a owner of an apple mac, I was quite surprised with the short batterly life and the time it took to downloand or verify something.
I popped in at the Hillcrest branch on 15 July (received my phone two weeks earlier on 1 July) and the email could not be set up as it took to long to verify and the sales lady phoned technical support. They suggested a software upgrade and the sales lady said that the stock often in boxes so long that it needs an upgrade as it gets opened. This is rediculous! She suggested I go to Pavillion but cannot ensure the date person will be there and also not ensure that he can indeed do an upgrade. Alternatively hand the phone in for 2 - 3 weeks, without a replacement phone as the shop only has one replacement phone, and sort it out.
This is a brand-new iphone (business phone) and as a business owner I cannot be without a phone. It is unacceptable and I want to hand this back and choose a more reliable phone. The service and product is poor. Pity I didn't know this before.
