I have an MTN modem with MTN on a broadband lite package for R289pm. When I coneect it to my coputer it picks up the MTN network and can connect to the network. If i'm lucky the modem will allow me to browse for as long as possible without any interruptions. Usually it'll stop receiving packets while continuing to send packets. I've disabled my windows firewall and I know for a fact that my anti-virus does not manage my internet connection so i'm convinced there's nothing on my machine that's preventing on-going connectivity. When I look at the windows 7 notification area for my internet connection I get a "no internet access" message on my broadband connection. This has been happening for the greater part of a 12-month period and I need it resolved because I can't carry on like this. I've decided to not even renew my contract when it expires.
