On Sunday the 6th of July I did a Sim swap. Unfortunately I lost the Sim and went back on the 7th to the same store to do another Sim swap. I was told that the Sim would be activated within 2 to 24 hours. Today (the 9th) I phoned the call center as the Sim still hadn't been activated. I was told that the old Sim, the one I lost, was on the system but not the new one. After spending almost 45 minutes on the phone I was told that the new Sim could not be activated and that I have to go back to the store to get a new one. The service and attitude I have experienced, after being a longstanding and loyal MTN client, is to say the least appalling.
