EXUBERANT INTERNATIONAL ROAMING COSTS

Dear Sir/Madam

Im resorting to complaining here, as i have mailed Cell C twice, and posted on the Facebook Page, with NO response.

I went to thailand for about 9 days. Over the course of that period, i used international roaming to send a cpl mms's, internet banking and light browsing. On the very LAST day, i recieved 3 sms's in succesion, telling me i had 6k left, 4k left, and then that my monthly limit had been reached! Surely you would think that these sms's would come a little sooner (rather than 7 days later??)

As a long standing client with Cell C, I am deeply saddened that there has been a lack of empathy and transparency on your part. Informing your clients upfront of the charges, especially whilst roaming, is a legal requirement of the Consumer Protection Act and I do not believe that your agent has followed this procedure.

Of course i understood that the costs would obviously be higher, but -R6000.00 to check my mail?? This sounds like something Carte Blanche would investigate.

I would like someone to contact me immediately, and i would like a DETAILED report of my data usage whilst away for my laywer.
