Bad service and over charging!!!

I recently purchased an iPhone contract with cell c. This contract includes 500mb per month. After the first month, I noticed an additional charge for mb user over and above my allocated 500mb. I immediately went into cell c and requested them to change settings on my phone that would prevent automatic updates etc. (ie all usages of data that were not directly incurred by myself). At this point, I 'owed' cell c roughly an additional R300 for extra data. The next month, hoping it would not happen again, I noticed that my data usage was an ADDITIONAL R500!!! When I called customer care to complain, the guy told me that this was not cell c's problem and I should take it up with apple!!! Firstly, I did not buy my phone from apple!! I bought it from cell c and secondly, I find it VERY hard to believe that browsing Facebook and what's app (WITHOUT uploading any photos) can use in excess of 1gig a month!!! I want cell c to FIX this problem appropriately. I've noticed that service providers like to respond to these complaints by saying "we'll call you" and then calling to say "we'll look into it". Do NOT call me unless you intend to make a difference. Until then, I'll keep complaining.
