Lack of terms explanation (Canecellation Dept)

I have cancelled my contract in May 2013 (effective 1 July 2013) and requested that my number be converted to prepaid with the intension of taking the my Gig 2 contract later. I was avoiding paying penalties for down grading.

I received a call from RewardCo after appying online for my Gig 2 package, at the time they were aware that I was on contract and they advised me to change to prepaid, then take up this contract. This was sometime in june just before the cancellation.

I started an application with Rewardco which they failed to complete, then I requested a cancellation.

On Wednesday I did another appplication which was successful. Today when we supposed to finalise, she tells me that the IT department says my number has not cooled off for 6 months.

NO ONE made me aware of his "6 months cooling off". The options available as explained by Tshego are to take a new number. I cannot afford to make changes to my cell number.

I am very dissappointed with Vodacom as when converting the terms and conditions are not explained upfront, particularly in my case.

I still want my Gig 2 deal, but on my current number. can someone please help me as I believe I was not infomed.
