Complaint is on behalf of my mother who does not have the knowledge or technology to complain here. She upgraded her contract with MTN in October 12 for a Nokia Asha 311 and in the 8 months she`s had this phone, it went in for repairs already 6 times sometimes waiting more that a month for it to come back. nobody ever bothered to keep her informed of the progress, she had to offer her time and convenience to go into the shop every time. after many hassles with this phone she`s had enough. I decided to take over, they think because she a older single woman with not enough fighting power left they can her all they want.nonsense. She now insists on a NEW sealed unit not the same brand of phone as the phone is more in for repairs as what she can use it, yet she needs to pay every month even if she does not have the phone to use. They refuse, said they will give a "new" unsealed phone form the repairs center, this is unacceptable! I told her to stop paying her account as this is not what she signed up for when signing that contract. should the need be we will see MTN in court. She must receive a new phone or I will take it to the highest channels possible, pathetic service!!!
