Vodacom
Misinformation and bad customer service

I purchased my Blackberry 9320 at Vodashop, Russell Street, Nelspruit on 27/06/2013. My Blackberry 9300 was the previous day. My phone was insured by an insurance company. As I am living on my own, I was not prepared to wait till my insurance pay out my claim and purchased above mentioned phoned cash. The Consultant, Cylin, repeated twice, in front of a witness, that should my phone experience any software problems within 7 days, it would immediately be replaced with a new one. The phone do have software problems (shutting down and rebooting). I took it today, 4 July, to the above mentioned outlet, and they refused to replace my phone. I can NOT wait 2 - 7 days for the problem to be fixed. I can NOT be without a phone. The consultant, Kobus van der Merwe (I think) was arrogant and argumentative. He went to the Manager, who just highlighted the OBF terms and conditions 1 and 3 and send it back to me via Kobus. I am very upset about the way I was either misinformed, or else, by the lack of any customer support. I will definitely NOT renew my contract with Vodacom.
