Slow payer, may not upgrade

I went to the two MTN shops in Kempton Park during 2011, when I was allowed to upgrade. At both shops they told me I am not allowed to upgrade any more, because Cell C notified them that I am a slow payer. M y problem with Cell C was when I changed my credit card number and forgot about my debit order with them. I did pay them when they made me aware of it, but for some reason they decided to mark me as a slow payer.
My problem is that Mtn knows that I am a loyal customer because I have two debit orders with them and they never had a problem that it were not paid. Why do they refuse me to upgrade if I never failed them?
