Refund me please

I visited your MTN branch in Menlyn (Bottom branch) today, to switch over from Contract to prepaid. The lady who assisted used my phone to call 808 and asked me to follow the voice prompts. Eventually i have explained to them that i want to move to prepaid and they told me it will take 2-24 hours. I had around R130 airtime available. When i received my sms that it was done, i checked my balance and saw I had R10 left.

I went back to MTN at Menlyn (top one) and they told me i have forfeited all my airtime and that they were supposed to tell me that. So i asked to be refunded, and they said i must speak to recoveries. COME ON... WHY cant they help me there and then ..

Please advise how i will get this money back onto my phone without me having to waste my time in one of your centres.
