This whole year I have had consistent problems with Telkom ADSL. Unacceptably low speeds. The process: I log a call a few days later the issue is resolved. But 1 month later the speed drops and I go through the entire process again. Everytime I log the call I get assured the problem will be resolved once and for all. This month I do my usual call logging process and 2 days later get notified the problem is resolved yet it is not. So I relog call and 2 days later same story. I relog call etc. this has now been going on for two weeks. I was told today if I top up my account my speeds will improve as miraculously somehow with such slow speeds I have managed to use all my data allocation. Not sure about this either. Alas I top up and guess what issue is still not resolved.
Pathetic. I am not sure why I stay with Telkom. 3G bizarrely seems more reliable and has way better download and upload speeds. And Telkom service and product is rather hopeless at the moment. Last chance I am on the verge of cancelling my ADSL account.
