I live in the Stellenbosch area and have my line rental through telkom. I have a 1 mb line and am experiencing very slow adsl internet speeds, with high pings. I am not the only one with this problem. I have friends who also stay in the Stellenbosch area and are experiencing the exact same problems. Telkom needs to fix their Stellenbosch exchange. This problem has been going on for the last month, on and off and now the speeds are just consistently slow. Ping ranging from 500 - 1000 ms and with max download speeds of around 0.2 mbps.
