After months of trying to organise that my number is to be ported to Cell C on the 15 April 2013, and that on that day I would start my new straight up 200 contract with my iPhone 5, the day finally arrived. After waiting all day for some sign of porting being successful, nothing seems to be happening. After numerous phone calls they assure me that they're working on it and I should get a notification soon saying that the porting of my number was successful.By 5:30pm I was about to leave work to go collect my phone assuming that everything had gone through successfully. I phoned Cell C to find out if its okay if I come collect the phone. I get told that they have encountered two slight issues - i thought it had something to do with the porting. Nope - they are out of stock of the iPhone 5 AND Nano sims. This was the first I had heard of this the entire day. Now I have to wait until Saturday 20 April for them to get more stock and then begin the whole porting indaba again. I am highly disappointed in Cell C. I had come into the store on numerous occasions to ensure everything was in place and that the porting process ran smoothly so I could make use of my new phone on the 15 April.
