I do not know what is more frustrating, I think it must be my disappointment with MTN, just a few months ago I explained to MTN that I was going through a financial crisis and needed them to provide me with an opportunity to pay off my arrears over three months. I have been connected with MTN for twenty years and have never had this problem prior. I currently have a business account being employed at Eskom and an additional personal account. I paid the arrears as I promised MTN, however I was told by the attorneys that I have to pay R3000 in reconnnection fee. I was so appalled, this is so unfair, it has taken me months to get out of this financial mess and now you want me pay an additional amount of R3000. i have telephoned your accounts department today, spoken to Garth and he assured me someone will contact me but no one did. In the twenty years that I have been with MTN this year I have experienced the worst customer service, I will appreciate it if someone can clarify why I need to pay this amount. I have been told by my company to cancel my business account as this service is unacceptable and unethical.
