Taking forever just to cancell a contract

I have been trying to cancel my contract and get a refund for my gap money but to no success. I called on the 30th of may and they told me that it will be cancelled but to my surprise I haven't received my refund and to make the matter worse the contract has not been cancelled yet. its so frustrating!!!
