I live in Thatchfield/Centurion area and I'm having the worst 3G/HSDPA/HSUPA signal. In fact, I do not recall it is possible to connect to a 3G (at least) signal in Thatchfield. I have a tablet that is 3G&Up capable and also a smartphone on the MTN network, but none can access 3G signal. Now, if I was to only make phone calls and receive sms', I'd be OK, but in this world of connectivity, really, can EDGE be the name of the game. I am so fedup with EDGE, I can deliver a WhatsApp message faster then EDGE. And sometimes even GPRS, REALLY? I used to live in Celtisdal and reckon the density of people accessing a range of networks is high (cell tower wise), but I got 3G and HSDPA regularly. But in Thatchfield, NIKS - people density is medium, but it is ridiculous. I have no landline for internet, thinking I'd get a tablet with 3G/HSDPA capability and have a smartphone for access. I'm about to use my tablet it as a door stopper. What's Up MTN?
