My elderly mother received a card in the post. There was no quotation of fees neither was there a means test in terms of the National Credit Act. She was under the impression that she could save in the card, she paid R199 into the card, an amount of R250 was taken for fees! The Premier Advantage website has no National Credit Regulator / Banking registration. I tried to phone the call centre on my mother's behalf, I could not get through. The only other communication is a fax to email. This to my mind is illegal. I demand my mothers R250 x 2 to be returned with immediate effect. Should this not happen I will report the matter to the National Credit Regulator. We demand the account be closed.
