MTN debited my wife's bank account on a Saturday - debit order was missed for (as well as I can remember) the first time ever, and the line was promptly cut off without decent warning.
We contacted MTN immediately, made payment and sent through proof of payment EXACTLY as per their instructions immediately, was told line would be reactivated within 24 hours. Been two and a half days, nothing.
Now, 56 hours later, this company has the AUDACITY to sms the number in question with:
"Yello, kindly remit R609.40 immediately to avoid Legal Action. Ignore if paid. Kind Regards, MTN SP"
What a insult - from happily overcharging and receiving unfailing paid debit orders for years and years straight, TO THREATENING LEGAL ACTION (WELL AFTER PAYMENT WAS MADE) IN ONE SMS, FLAT.
All MTN users: This is apparently how this company rolls - looks like you're nothing to them!
MTN SP: YELLO!! Kindly reactivate line YESTERDAY to avoid legal action. Ignore if done. Ignore that last sentence, cause its not done. Kind regards!!!
