In the last 3 months we have had endless problems with this ISP. All of the problems was outgoing mail related. Mail not being delivered, the mweb smtp server blacklisted and so on. Today we noticed that mail is not going out and that [URL Removed] is bouncing the mail back.
After a couple of phone calls i was told that mail server is not allowed on a home account. This is apparently in place for the last 3 years. when i asked this technical support person why i could send mail in the last 3 years it was explained to me that my exchange mail server is not RFC complaint. WHAT!!! clearly this technical person demonstrated the technical competence. he continued to say that other ISP also do not allow mail servers on home account. This guy also spoke to his supervisor and confirmed this. WOW you technical support are ABSOLUTLY USELESS!!! strange that a month earlier i confirmed my outgoing smtp details and then nothing was said about this.
I AM NOW WITH AFRIHOST. AN ISP THAT HAS TECHNICAL PERSONELL THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.and they allow mail on home accounts.
MOVE AWAY FORM MWEB, THEY ARE COMPLETELY USELESS!!!
