I am very disappointed with Cell C. I took a contract for a relative who fell behind with his payment, because there were problems with the bank account details. We went to Cell C store at East Rand mall to update the details so they could deduct. End of the month the payment did not go off as the agent captured the details wrongly. The end of the month i called to find out why they hadn't deducted, they told me that the number has been cancelled and that I'll have to pay an amount of R6945.78. The legal department agent told me i had three months to pay. On 3 June 2013 i made a payment of R1500 and emailed them a proof payment, but today when i called, they said nothing is reflecting. The agent did not even try and track my payment. She just gave me a number for their attorneys. Cell C did not inform me of what was going on with the account and what was going to happen. i only found out when i queried about the debit that did not deduct. Because of that i may face some legal battles. if I was just informed, I would have made payment before the dates they wanted.
