I went in to the Telkom Phoenix Plaza branch on 03/01/2013 to purchase a micro sim card for my Ipad however they were out of stock. i did manage to obtain the Sim from another branch on the 13/01/2013 however did not have the necessary documents on me at the time to RICA the Sim of which i immediately went home picked up my documentation and proceeded to the Phoenix branch as it is the closest to me. When i got there i was told that the 8TA systems are down and would be back up by Monday 14/01/2013. A as working class person i cannot go to the branch during the week so i went today the 18/01/2013 and what do you know, i got the same response that the systems are offline and would be back up again on Monday. That's 3 trips pointless trips to that branch which was just a waste of my time and fuel. How many more of these trips must i waste in order to RICA the Sim card? The answer to that question is NONE as i do not want to have anything to do with any of its products or services, another service provider has been chosen. can;t be taking more than 3 weeks just to get a simple prepaid sim card up and running.
