Ack in 2012 my grandmother"s landline was not working that well. She informed me that she called from a neighbour and they informed her that she needs to buy a new handset which i found odd because no one was at her premises to find out if it was the wirinfg from the road or her telephone so immediately i bought a new handset as she is a elderly lady and needs a elephone and to my surprise there was nothing wrong with her phone as the new one that i bought also had no ringing tone, so at this point i was as i had just wasted money on a phone that was not needed. She then went to the neighbour again to phone Telkom to inform them this and they promised to send someone out to the premises to have it fix this was back in January its June now and still no one has come out to her premises. How can someone that paid a year supply for something and havent had it for half the year if this is not resolved further action with the comsumer rights department will be taken as i feel she needs to be compensated for this.
