I applied for a telkom landline in the middle of October, on 15 October 2013 I recieved an SMS stating that representatives will be coming to the premises on 2013/10/18. No one arrived on that date. Then on 21 October 2013 I recieved the same SMS stating that telkom representitives would be coming 2013/10/21. Again no one arrived on the date.
Today (24 October 2013) I went to the local telkom branch (West Acres, Shop 19, Cnr Walter Sisulu drive & Retief Str, Potchefstroom) to hear what is going on. There I was told that representatives had been to the premises, and reported an error with the exchange. No representitives ever contacted me about this, and I wouldn't have known about any issues if I had not gone to the Telkom offices to complain.
I still have no idea if any telkom representitives were actually at the premises (but did not contact me) or if/when the exchange issue will be resolved.
