Why have a call center?

What is the use of call centres if they always refer you back to the shop? This is the third time I am having this problem I am so tired of this poor service. I did my upgrade and in the shop, I asked them to stop my BIS and to transfer all the airtime I have to data on my new contract. The woman said yes that is fine she will do that. After signing a million forms and stuff and doing my sim swap for the micro sim I left. Only to return 6 times in 2 weeks because my phone was not set up correctly. After having endless hours spend in your shops because your systems is always of line it was sorted. Therefore, I check my statements only to find that my BIS was never stopped and that my airtime that was on my previous contract is just missing. So Vodacom how are we going to solve this problem... o wait I know... go to a shop... NOOOO... you will sort this out and send me a full explanation as to why this happened and a updated statement showing the correction that have been done with the the full back dated refund on the BIS fees. I have been a customer for almost 10 years and really, this is just getting out of hand. I am sick and tired of your poor pathetic service.
