BIS paid for but cannot use

At the beginning of this month I purchased a new month's BIS subscription for my blackberry on the number 0828001600, but today I had to get a new sim card for this same black berry, because my old sim card no longer works, now according to the terms and conditions for BIS my BIS is valid for 30 days, I called the vodacom call centre today to ask if they could transfer that BIS subscription to my new number 0606299002 as I cannot use it on my old number anymore, after all I paid for a full month, or at the very least refund it so I can load it on my new number. To which the response was, it is impossible, and generally unhelpful in trying to sort out the matter. I refuse to believe that a small matter like this should be impossible for a company like vodacom, After all I am not looking for a free hand out, but rather only for that which I paid for...
