I have been a Cell c customer 10 yrs - I have 2 contracts but everytime I upgrade it's such a nightmare that it makes me want to change providers. This time I was advised I could upgrade on 1 Jun. on 17/05 I called as I was having probs with my old ph and was told that I could upgrade via tel
But to order my ph on backorder - I had to upgrade immed (I had just received R235 airtime which I would lose but the free mins and sms would be given to me pro-rata) I was changing to the S4 which was advertised for May as incl 1GB data. Ph received 27/05 but micro sim only activated 29/05 May.By 30/05 my data was up - I called cust service to enquire and was told I received 48MB which I had used. consultant (faranaaz) agreed that I should have received half of the 1GB data not only 48MB. Ref no 3053003028. Was advised by her that I would be contacted within 48hrs - ja right! I'm still waiting!!
On 2/06 I called the call centre again as once again I had no data! Was told that I had used up my 100MB as allocated - the 900MB would only "take effect" on 23/9 once the upgrade kicks in cos I took an early upgrade.
I am very unhappy about this cos it's false advertising!!
