I am an ID Victim, a cellphone contract was granted by Cell C without my knowledge and consent.
I noticed this on my credit report that I have a monthly cash based contract with cell c and the account is in arrears due to non payment. I contacted Cell C on their 084 140 customer care line, to report the incident. I was given a reference no: 3052102441 by the consultant and he also advised that the line was suspended and I should await a further investigation. I have been in waiting for 3 weeks for their reply and mind you this affecting my credit rating negatively. I noted the account no for this contract on my credit report as 120445728.
Cell C pleas response to this urgently. I am in the process of seeking assistance from a legal represenative to escalate this matter. As my attempts have fallen on deaf ears. HELP
