SIM SWAP - Can it be this difficult?

Vodacom never never never FAIL to disapoint you. Im trying to do a sim swap. I went into a branch and was asked for the last 5nr I called.. Really?? How the should you know this.. I dont even know my moms nr out of my head. Eventually I gave the very very unhelpfull sales consultant 5nr's I called recently. After sitting infront of her for an hour, she advised that she would not be able to assist, and that I should purchase a sim card and call vodacom myself. WOW! Called vodacom... Still not service. She told me I have to go into a branch. She eventually asked me questions, and I had to anwer things like: How much to I recharge with..? It si just rediculous!!!

???

I just do not have time to sit with a consultant for an hour every day to sort out a sim swap. Is the consultants unqualified to do this?

Thumbs up for CELL C and MTN! They are awesome with a sim swap, always walk out with a smile.

I suppose you cant really call Vodacom a service provider, you actually have to receive service for that.

How should I get a new simcard?? What is the reason for Rica??
If I go into a branch with my ID, you can surely pick up that it is my nr?
